Stopped here on the way through town. The food is made fresh when ordered which made it extra tasty! I hope to be back this way soon to try it again! It was delicious and a great little place to go!
I'll start by saying our burger was very good. The issue is the dining room is closed, and seems to have been since the COVID shutdown, and the dive-in line was pretty slow. It probably took 15-20 minutes to get our order and we were just one car back in the order line. Still we will probably go back just for the Route 66 nostalgia factor and the fact the burger was very good.
Hard to screw up a burger and tater tot’s but it was extra tasty! Bun seemed lightly toasted. Nice touch. Simple, enjoyed and would return. Please open up your lobby!
Today was my first time trying this place. I let a woman cut in front of me in the drive thru line, and she ended up paying for my entire order. I was so surprised and touched, I made sure to pay it forward to the vehicle behind me too. Great people, great food. The fried green tomatoes were to die for. 10/10, will definitely be back.
I stopped by here on my way out of town. I had never been here before and thought I'd try it out. I think I'd seen it on one of the travel shows or something. It was alright. I wouldn't go out of my way for it. And even if I was in Miami again, I probably wouldn't go back. The customer service was great and it had nice people. I really love the look of the restaurant but that's where it stopped. I wasn't really impressed with anything that I had.
They have the best burgers around by far. The food is always hot and fresh. Not to long of a wait and the food is worth it. Ice cream and hot dogs are on the menu as well. Seating outside for those nice days. If you are passing through definitely stop oy and try their food. You won't be disappointed.
Does its job. It's still that classic old burger shack to scratch that nostalgia itch. Good food and prices.
A must do stop on Route 66.
It is about the experience of visiting this burger joint! I just wonder how many travelers doing the Route 66 tour have been here. I am thinking people from all over the world! The history of this little place is interesting. I am glad it is still here. Anyway drop in for a burger and fries, and mark it off you list of "getting your kicks on route 66."
